Meta Typing Club

How do ads and ad-free plans work?

Plus and Pro plans have no ads. Ads keep Meta Typing Club free for everyone — they are child-safe and non-personalised, they never sit next to the keyboard or the text you type, and we never run targeted advertising to children.

No ads on Plus and Pro plans

A Plus or Pro plan removes ads for your own account. A parent's or teacher's Pro plan also makes the children or students it covers ad-free, and a school's paid plan makes its learners ad-free. A parent's or teacher's Plus plan removes ads for the payer only. See plans and pricing.

How ads keep it free

Advertising is what lets learners everywhere use Meta Typing Club at no cost. The ads are non-personalised and sit in a few fixed places on the page. On the typing screen they never sit next to the keyboard or the text you type: on wide desktop screens they may appear only in the side columns beside the lesson, so your practice is never interrupted.

Children are protected

We never run behavioural or targeted advertising to children. For students and signed-out lesson pages, ad requests are tagged for child treatment, and children who register on their own see only our own house messages — never a third-party ad. Schools on a no-ads agreement show their students no ads at all.
