Is a school account safe for children's data?

Yes. A school only ever sees the students in its own school, never another school's. Student accounts created by a school do not require an email address, nothing is sold, and the person who sets the school up accepts the consent terms once and is emailed a copy of exactly what they agreed to.

One school cannot see another

Every school is a separate tenant. Members, classes, assignments and reports are scoped to your school, and a member of one school has no access to another school's data.

Students without email

Children who have no email address get accounts the school creates for them, with printable login cards. No personal contact details are required.

The setup wizard shows the consent text with a single checkbox on the last step. When you accept it we email the school a copy, with the version and a link, so you have your own record of what was agreed and when.
