How do I monitor my students' progress as a teacher?

Open the Students tab in your teacher dashboard to see every student's progress in one view. For each student you can check completed lessons, WPM, accuracy, Real Accuracy, stars, and assignment status. Click a student to open a detailed activity history with their recent lessons.

What you can see

The Students tab shows live progress for everyone on your roster. Alongside completed lessons you see typing metrics like words per minute, accuracy, and Real Accuracy, which measures genuine first-try correctness rather than guessed keystrokes.

Reading the numbers

Use Real Accuracy to spot students who are rushing. A 100 percent accuracy with a very low Real Accuracy usually means a student corrected many mistakes, so they may need slower, more deliberate practice. Stars reflect overall performance, where 5 stars need 85 percent or higher accuracy, 20 or more WPM, and at least 50 percent Real Accuracy.
