Does Meta Typing Club work without an internet connection?
Not yet. Meta Typing Club currently needs an internet connection to load lessons, save progress, and sync your account. There is nothing to install, you just open the site in your browser. We are exploring offline practice for a future update, but for now a stable connection is required.
Why a connection is needed
Lessons, your dashboard, and saved progress all load from the web. Your typing runs in the browser, but loading content and syncing stars and streaks needs a connection.
No installation required
Because the platform runs entirely in your browser, there is no app to download. See do I need to install anything.
Tips for a steady experience
Use a reliable network and a current supported browser. A weak connection can make pages load slowly, which can feel like the lesson is stuck.
