How is my progress saved and tracked?
Your progress is saved automatically as you complete lessons. With an account, your stars, completed lessons, speed, and accuracy sync across devices. Without an account, progress is kept in your browser only, so it can be lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices.
Automatic saving
Every time you finish a lesson, your results are stored: completed lessons, words per minute, accuracy, Real Accuracy, stars, and streaks. You can view these statistics on your dashboard at any time.
Guest vs account progress
- Signed in: progress is saved to your account and follows you on any device or browser.
- Guest: progress is stored only in the current browser. Clearing browser data, using private mode, or switching devices can lose it.
If you started as a guest, you can create an account to keep your progress safe going forward.
